On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Kingsport City Schools (KCS) will host the inaugural Administrative Support Center (ASC) Student Art Exhibition between 4-6 p.m. featuring a collection of extraordinary artwork created within the district contributed by students in grades K-12. 
 
The purpose of the event is to acknowledge and highlight KCS students' creativity and creative achievements. The pieces of student artwork selected for long-term display vary between 2-Dimensional (drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, etc.) and 3-Dimensional (pottery, sculptures, etc.) mixed media pieces. The pieces can be found in different locations throughout ASC located on the second and third floors in high-traffic areas for the next three years. At the end of three years, new student artwork selected will be displayed.
 
For this exhibition, there are seven (7) collections with a total of 39 pieces. The collections include: Landscape, Line Drawing, Animals, Pottery, Abstract, Space, and Under the Sea. 
 
Students, families, KCS employees, and the community are encouraged to attend this free drop-in event. Registration is not required.
