The structure fulfills the vision to build an accessible, innovative playground for the children of Kennedy Elementary and the Lynn Garden community. Some of the playground's features include a poured-in-place surface, large climbing structure, monkey bars, music panel, merry-go-round, slides, spinning cups, a spinning pod, swings, and a sitting zip line.

Prior to the Ribbon Cutting, Kennedy Elementary will hold their Back to School Event from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. for students and families.
