I want my child to achieve. Therefore, I will encourage him/her by doing the following:

• See that my child is punctual and attends school regularly.
• Make education/school work a priority in our home.
• Encourage my child’s efforts to do his/her best.
• Stay aware of what my child is learning.
• Encourage positive attitudes.
• Attend parent-teacher conferences and other school functions.
• Communicate with teachers and/or school officials.
• Establish a time for sharing daily school experiences and/or completing homework.
• Read with my child.
